When I'm not on here, I'm watching sports (college and professional), gaming, or reading.
Recently departed a (nearly) 30 year career for writing. Wish me luck or ask me anything!

Thank you.
I have taken to believing that grief does not fade like a sunset turning into night. But it is more like bee stings, each as painful, inflicting more pain with each sting. But, like a bee sting, one eventually recovers but never forgets.

The better half (or maybe the bitter half) got me a membership to Criterion online, and we watched that last night. Still makes giddy with all the action sequences.

Just a heads up, some titles are now over $2.99. Might want to update the list.
Thanks for promoting this!

Saw "The Buffalo Hunter Hunter" in Seattle at the UW bookstore (technically a Barnes & Noble) at a suggested reading end cap. Still need to get my hands on a copy. But not until I finish my current book.

Probably should ask where I can pick this up for that price.

Did you mean secular or thematic?
Secular? Christmas is a Christian holiday associated with Christ's birth. So - "The Greatest Story Ever Told" - is that a Christmas movie?
Thematic? "Christmas with the Kranks"? It occurs during and includes many themes - gifts, selflessness, parties, decorations?

www.asianbrushpainter.com/blogs/abnews... is an article which claims to have found the artist. However, it requires an account to review the rest of their media after clicking the link.

There's a post on the bird site that states - "The Xenomorph invasion of Japan, 1764. #Aliens sumi-e painting by Ike Taiga." However, that can't be true given the artist was born and died in the 18th century.
As of right now, without digging further, it is unclear the artist.

I can’t tell you how many times I’m triggered by the “anything that could be used as a weapon” question.
