Exakt så. Som kommun med 18000 invånare så är det ju ett problem när turister köper villor för 3 miljoner att ha som fritidshus. För den familj som annars skulle bott där kanske helt enkelt flyttar någon annanstans och betalar sin skatt där istället.

Som boende på populär liten skidort tror jag det vore värt att utvärdera. Ett påtagligt problem jag märkt, som även är snarlikt på norra Öland, är alla hus som köps och nyttjas några veckor per år (eller hyrs ut), vilket påverkar återväxten av bofasta. Jag hade gärna sett en skatt på det, tror jag.

Oh, wow. I feel very mistaken. 😅 Here you usually have an ID app on your phone, and to set that up you either need to visit the bank or be able to authorize it with the signing hardware you got from the bank, but those usually aren't charged anymore because it's 5 years since you last needed it. 😂

I'd guess neither. The digital security for banking when we're talking 8 digits isn't coming from the digits. That's more of a physical security if someone gets ahold of your phone or equivalent auth device. You wouldn't be able to authenticate with just 8 digits and some id number (I hope).

So that's a pin then? Is there even any value of hashing a pin? Given how they're used and their low complexity I'm not sure there's an obvious need to hash it.

The smallest denomination we have in Sweden is the equivalent of $0.1. We haven't had anything smaller than $0.05 in over 30 years. It's insane that pennies have survived until 2025.

Bad jokes aside, I've had a Windows machine in one way or the other for 25 years, but right now the current one is connected to the TV and I'm only playing games I could use Linux for instead. Sooo, that's my Sunday project probably.

Wait, wut? I don't use it professionally, so I don't have the urge to get rid of it as a lot of the time it's covered by a full screen game, but that sounds awfully basic to have missed that feature.

Is there any indication that this is anything other than generic chess talk that's only superficially related to the moves? Does it match the output of chess engines? I just did a quick test to compare a game with chess.com and it was fairly random in what move evaluations matched and not.

It's got to be hard to get a coherent description of reality if you're explicitly ignoring reality. Makes me think of flat earthers and antivaxxers, who face similar problems.

I all välmening: var försiktig med ChatGPT. Säger inte att svaret är fel, men man bör utgå från att det är det. Svaret låter som ett rimligt svar på prompten, vilket är vad en LLM är bäst på, men detaljerna kan lika gärna vara påhittade.

Borde ju inte vara ett överkomligt problem. Barn bör ha ett barnkonto hos Apple eller Google. Föräldrarna kan ange exakt ålder.

Not saying that you can't learn from the content it's consumed and composes an answer from, but it has historically been awful at chess, so I'm just curious if there's been some development I'm unaware of. I would think that it's a limitation of an LLM, same as arithmetic etc.

Admit sounds like cognition, and that's a little generous. It made up responses that sounded like responses, isn't that what it does? Has chess been improved? I would think it's as bad at that as at arithmetic. Or analyzing statistics.

I hand Copilot complicated work tasks that it works on for a few minutes and produce successful results. Shopping should be a significantly lower bar. Totally get why they would want to integrate, but pure enshittification will probably follow.
