Yeah, last night was the 10 year anniversary of Jake Arrieta smothering the Pirates. And only two Cubs who played in that game are still active major leaguers: Schwarber and Bryant, and KB barely counts as active these days.

I don’t know if the Cubs will be able to hang on today, but this game highlights how they’re just incapable of winning a drama-free postseason game. The last one of those they had was Game 6 in Cleveland. Every postseason win since that one has been a terrifying ride.
