I got about 9 blanket flowers to grow this year from seed, this is the only one that currently has any buds in it. I wonder if it will look like the one in my backyard that came back from last year.

Every year the Cosmos come back. This year they have other flowers to help prop them up and they are flourishing. We've also got a sunflower and zinnia's in here to.

Cutting the flowers makes them grow more and adds wonderful color inside that I will just stare at sometimes.

Season 2 for the Crepe Myrtle is going so much better than season 1. I got some great advice from my Auntie last fall when I only had two blooms and this year it's going off.

Last fall I moved quite a few of my Gladiolus bulbs. Turns out they propagate. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this section that has considerably smaller leaves actually sprouted a flower.

These Canterbury Bells just keep blooming with just a little bit of deadhead maintenance. I have been convinced to grow more. A few of this years have also already self propagated and will be ready for next year.

This Gladiolus was putting on a show by lamp light last night. We had a little photo sesh and I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. If she's glowing again tonight I'll try another recipe.
