Larissa was incredibly clean and loved having a problem to solve... We only had her for a couple of years. She was at least 1 yr old when we adopted her... Odd that she was suddenly a burden for the people. If I see one who needs help, I'll help. Yes, their lives are much too short.

Rats are fantastic animals... Smart, social. Our girl was unwanted simply because she was unhappy at losing her sibling. So we took her before she was dumped. We known where people dump pets here... She bloomed. Cancer though.

19 months though....😉👍 Not bad for an old boy. Our rescue rat passed last year. She was a good lass.. We discovered a mouse in our shopping bag. Who then escaped said shopping bag into a room with 15 cats waiting for snacks. The mouse out maneuvered all of the cats with ease. We named her danger...
