I'm also a casual birder, whatever that is. Before we moved to Whidbey Island we had a bird friendly backyard that was perfect for bird photography.

My love of photography extends to railroading. This is an empty coal train eastbound at Scenic, Washington. Most of the coal mined in the US is metallurgical coal and much of it is exported overseas.

I do landscape work but really enjoy finding little abstract compositions. Shot with a Leica Dlux3 and processed in the latest version of Topaz photo ai.
