An unspoken struggle of getting better with drawing hands:

I get disappointed in myself when not all the fingers are visible, because it feels like I’m still hiding my hands to keep from drawing them…. But I DREW THE OTHER HAND, it is RIGHT THERE and I’m PROUD OF IT!
In this pose from a recent work in progress, the right hand is wrapped around the right lower leg, meaning that only the thumb and knuckles are visible. The left hand of this work in progress, however, is fully visible in a dynamic pose with foreshortened perspective. This shows that, contrary to my artistic insecurities, if I had needed/wanted to draw the whole other hand then I could have.
