Unpopular opinion: I think Phillie Karen has gotten a disproportionate amount of hate. In the videos I've seen we cannot see the full interaction while she was grabbing the ball. Isn't it possible that the man did tear the ball from her hand?

Finished #Elantris and it was a great ending. While not my favorite book, I can see why people live in so much. I treated Hrathen more of a villain than he deserved to be.

Sent on a mission to save people, but in reality his efforts were meant to start a war. He's not a good person, but hurting people was always a no-go.

Side note: I really dislike how Hrathen refers to Elantrians. Doomed to a fate of never ending pain and slowly going insane from hunger. Unimaginable suffering to be reduced to 'creatures'?
