I hope 2026 is better for us all than it seems 2025 was. I have hope that it could be a very big year for me. I've had that hope before and it's been misplaced but there's nothing else for it other than to hope, and do our best to change our circumstances. Godspeed to us 🫡

it's mid or bad or worse. (And we're certainly not going for that!) It'll be something I'll be incredibly proud of having done that I hope'll chill me out a lot. I can't wait to show y'all more of it in the new year as the truly significant work gets done on it, and we maybe release? (🤞)

It's all made me pretty cynical and closed-off and meant that I don't make a lot of friends or connections. That's the one thing I wanna change next year. I'm hoping that making a game will push me out there to meet/talk to more people. My game is my ray of hope right now. Doesn't even matter if-

There's a lot of people whose work I respect or enjoy and I never make any attempt to connect with them, some have tried to connect with *me* and I worry I've been cold or self-interested. That's because I kind of am! I'm constantly worried about how I'm gonna get by and afford my own life!

never having enough money or feeling self-sufficient is that you go into a sort of extreme self-preservation mode, you tell yourself you don't have the time or energy for anything other than work, which you need to do so you can *make* money. In doing so, you shun connections with other people.
