All People are endowed by THEIR *creator* to certain unalienable rights. That is an American tenant. Not on specific creator. God. Religion. Specifically NOT that.

There is nothing Political about ensuring people have access to healthcare, education, financial mobility.
Political might be: "How do we make this happen" but not "It doesn't happen for these people."

Our field is rife with the underserved. the ostracized. the persecuted. the minority in oppression. Our women, our trans, our queer, our people of color, our disabled.
If their pleas to be heard are inherently "political" to you then... maybe the issue is in the mirror. Not the artist.

... and what is politics if not ALSO an act of human passion? I'm not saying that all art is political ONLY because... that is an absolute, and I wouldn't limit art in that way. But I would say that you'd be hard pressed to find real and valued art that isn't touched by "politics".

It is not an aversion to the existence of AI. It is how it is being thrust on to us. Brute Forced. Beaten into the masses, without care or regard on how we feel, or how it harms.

It is about hundreds of billions of dollars being invested in boxes to house GPUs we don't even have water and power to drive, at the cost of the already struggling households that surround it.
