I’m my opinion the design fits the form and function of the e-bike. All the power, control, regen, and major mech are in the central housing, low and in the middle for better balance and control. It looks odd (ugly) because it is new and innovative approach. The stats and features are impressive.

Having the “Let’s get spooky” was a hit this evening for Halloween. Parked the R1S out front and in mode, while giving out candy. Kids ran for the candy and Dads took a look at the Rivian.

Rivian R1S.

Such a fine off roading and camping SUV. EV camping is so much fun.

I switched from a 2018 model 3 to a 2025 Rivian R1S. So far, a great SUV. Gone off-roading and camping. It is a dream to drive and camp in.

The R2 is coming soon and will be a great SUV for everyday use and camping.
