two men are seen accosting a third in the distance. jayce: 'What's up with that?' merchant: 'They're mages from the city. Acolytes. They travel home on vacation, and ransack the town on their way through.' jayce: 'why isn't anyone standing up to them?' viktor begins casting a spell in the palm of his hand before jayce covers his palm. They share a glance. merchant: 'They're mages! We can't fight against that. They'll burn down our houses, or... Something like that.' townspeople help the assaulted man pick up some of his produce that was knocked down in the scuffle. the scenery changes to the front of jayce and viktor's (current) home.
