Photos taken: 12/18/2022 9:57 p.m. I was out hunting for the rest of the Pokémon to complete the Galar Pokédex and earn that Shiny Charm (you know why if you read my previous post). I was in the Isle of Armor, in the Soothing Wetlands, during in-game rainy weather when, out of nowhere, a Malamar popped up and revealed itself as shiny. I was definitely startled by that experience, and what better way is there to come up with a fitting name for this tentacled terror? Welcome aboard, Cthulhu!

On Thursday June 18th, a significant event occurred in Pokémon Sword and Shield. A mythical Pokémon named Zeraora appeared, and if at least one million trainers worldwide defeated it, they were rewarded with not just a regular Zeraora but a shiny one. I was among the players who earned it.

Storytime! A while back when I was playing Pokémon Sword, I had a special encounter with a Shiny Galarian Corsola. This was my first-ever Shiny, which also happened during a Dynamax encounter from one of the Pokémon dens. Her name is Hex!

3/22/2020 3:19 p.m. Hex is the first Shiny Pokémon I've caught. Without warning, she was just a run-of-the-mill Dynamax Pokémon until I caught her. This encounter was special to me, and I cherish that memory.
