The BlueSky influx seems to be over, with daily likers dropping by nearly a million users since last month, though data might be incomplete. I hope the current user base is still enough to keep it going and gain traction in the future.

Further in the light of Intel's tumultuous times and job cuts, it's mad to think Intel is about as big as AMD, NVIDIA and TSMC -combined-, employing over 125000.

It’s funny how we used to see the GTX 480 as the pinnacle of excess power consumption and heat, with a TDP of 250W. Yet today’s RTX 4090 has a 450W(!!) TDP but doesn’t have that same stigma. I suppose the 480’s loud and inadequate, grill-like cooler played a big part that…

Also why the strange DIMM slot placement?? (which ties in with the ATX 8-pins). Even the Z890 Extreme has a regular layout, so why this oddness?

It's fantastic to see OLED displays continue to become more affordable. You can now pick up a quality 1440p 240Hz model for sub 600 euros. Only a year ago prices hovered between 800-1000 euros with far fewer models available.
