At the end of the day, I was a tad worried the monochromatic art style would take away from the overall experience but based on the demo, it rarely doesn't

For a game like this, readability is going to be very important & based on the demo, the readability is pretty good so far

Could work but personally speaking, I think stars are a classic, to me the "?" would be more "I lost them" or "I'm confused"

Maybe take a look at older animations/cartoons and see how use iconography to display being "stunned"?

For the stunned stars above the monkeys, you could do an outline (maybe) that always ensures to stand out no matter if the "current" background is either mostly black or mostly white?

Doesn't the game have these "balls" that are "2 tone"? Maybe reuse the balls or do a similar effect?
For the monkeys, I would test either the flash/shake/both and if you haven't already, make the stars circling above their heads more standout even more, since they kinda blend in with white on white?

For the mole people, I didn't make the connection at first that I need to hit the rocks.

And for the cymbal monkeys, to me it wasn't always very visually clear that they were "stunned" after using the AoE attack, so I had to rely more on the SFX to make sure I could hit them

Specifically King Gacha for me, when the boss started jumping around after the "armor" broke, I didn't understand that I need to get close to hit them and maybe the mole people that yeets rocks?

I mean for dashing, I'm more concerned about inputs that could put strain on the player(s) hands?

If I haven't said it already, I loved the demo!

2 things: When I fought some enemies/boss, I had some issues with enemies not being very clear/obvious what they're telegraphing (especially the boss when they're jumping around) and finally, spamming/holding the dash button can be repetitive

I tried the demo out and loved it!

I have a question though, what engine did you use for this game?

I really liked it, I thought the monochromatic art style would be hard to read but most of the time it works surprisingly well

I mean I like the glitchy-ness & the aesthetics but the main issue (for me) is that the text is quite hard to read, it takes a little bit of time to see it's your name but it isn't immediate

I would recommend products from "Affinity", personally speaking, I'm using their "Designer" software for vector stuff, and they have "Photo" as well.
