I understand what you are saying but I don’t think reporters need to talk to people like they are five. People know what goes on a charcuterie board and they can extrapolate. Meat, cheese, grapes, nuts, chocolate etc. Damn, now I’m hungry. 😀

How does that not connect with the average American? I’m pretty sure most people have been to a party where there is a charcuterie board and wine. It’s not like they said the cost of running their private jet would double.
