I read this the other day and said to my wife "we live in 2 different realities, 2 different Americas." I don't know where they get their news from (I have an idea), but they can't be reading the NYT, the actual place the where the article appeared. The cognitive dissonance is startling.

I blame Baker Mayfield and the NCAA. If they would have punished him for this in college, we're not even having this conversation.

If you live in Iowa, NE, or any other corn/soybean producing Midwestern state, and 4 years ago he tanked all of your farmers with tariffs, why would you vote for that again on a grander scale??? Make it make sense.

Was working at a high school radio station in PA as a student dj and got this as a promo copy from CMJ. It instantly changed my world view, my politics, and my humanity. Exactly what you would hope music can do for and to you.

I also think that those of us on the left locally are farther left than DNC, but there is so much money infiltrating the center that gravity pulls to the middle exponentially. The question is how do you compete in an arena where the rules allow for the donor-class to run amuck?

I first heard it coming out of a Suzuki Samurai while walking past Cramton Auditorium at HU. It was exactly what I thought revolution should sound like. A definite milestone in my life.
