I'm so upset that I'm only just learning this. These people are proof we've existed for thousands of years, and are apart of history. It just goes to show that no matter how much they try, we can never truly be erased. This book is so good, and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

It gets even crazier. The first person to ever want bottom surgery, but didn't receive it was a teenager called Elagabalus who ruled the Roman Empire from 218-222 CE.

In the section about history, it says how the first trans woman to receive gender affirming surgery was Dora Richter, who transition 1931. The first trans man to transition was Mark Weston, in 1939.
