but this is the thing, he totally whiffed on stuff that any of his more recent predecessors — i'm thinking bob mcdonnell specifically — would have been able to get through. the failed alexandria sportsplex and the failed bid for the new FBI headquarters specifically.
Full Dem control of legislature for his whole term, right? Guess that makes doing stuff hard.
