Isn't Peach the name

And wasn't there a book
called How To Eat A Peach?
The last one I ate
wasn't fully ripe yet, so
it was hard, dry & bitter.
That wasn't obviously

twin brother before.
Don't tell me, I was
half asleep & squinting,
because I didn't have my glasses on.
Don't tell me I've read

There clearly were two moons

That's true, in a way. I think, it's very much a product of its time. The music was/is very popular in Germany.

Last night, the moon asked me
why I didn't sleep & as an answer,
I made a vague gesture with my hand,
including everything, except
the mighty Luna herself.
In comfort, she wrapped a #ribbon
of her warm light around me,
so that this morning, I woke up
with a slight moonburn.

I step into the internet
& an #amada of #adverts
pops up around me,
blatant speech ballons.
I prick each one with my pencil
& they explode, leaving behind
a heap of letters, just like
fallen autumn leaves.
I rearrange them into small poems,
hopefully for them to shine again.
