As someone who played the original game, I gave this movie 2.75/5. There were parts I liked, but they changed a lot, and the whole backstory felt shoehorned in.

He was definitely more tolerable in Parks and Rec. The only thing I've watched recently that he was in was The Super Mario Bros Movie, and that's mainly because everyone else in the cast was great (and because I'm a shameless Nintendo fanboy).
