A series might even be a better approach. The first series of True Detective, but with Hellboy has more room to explore the world while building to something could work really well.

It feels like a better path to building a film series. Start small, explore the word, build to end of the world elder god stuff. 😀

Fair enough. I liked, I didn't love it. I'm with you on seeing some of the smaller stories portrayed. I've fallen well being on the comics, but there's so much good there, it's a shame they've never really been able to make the transition.

Did you see The Crooked Man? I quite liked it, smaller budget, less word ending plot. I still want to see Hellboy on screen with his proper goal legs though. 🐐

I've not hated the change as much as I feared I would. It did feel like Hemsworth was doing a Cavill impression, but he's portraying the same character so I can mostly forgive it. I've really enjoyed it though. 😀

You don't really have to, it's not that strict. I think as long as the minis represent the unit type well you could use any. I put together a Trading Company, a Society of Supernatural Investigators, and a Mercenary Group without going out of the rules, I think. 😀
