ah been dying to see this whenever i got the chance! (haven't had much luck finding it anywhere officially or otherwise thru the usual channels lol). mostly just v happy we get a new shiraishi release... love all his work tho interested to see why this one ppl seem to compare to noroi specifically

tbf i fit squarely into the target audience for this thing and prob would benefit from it. but seeing the (region adjusted) asking price really deflated it for me, for what it is anyway lol

ohhh i hate this. the nicest thing i can say about the pearl is that it hosts a pretty good range of smaller musicians i like but man if that that isn't the only thing it's got going for it. being at the venue itself kinda sucks ass and this doesn't help!

i think ppl leaned into the "armored core controller grip' stuff and how obtuse the series' controls were as a bit, it was never really *that* bad! it taking until half of gen 3 (iirc) for them to figure out dual analog controls didnt help lol but just mostly divergent design. i got used to it!

ouhh i remember you posting about these a while back and i'm glad they seem to be solid. tried messing with an old ipod and having to use itunes for 5 minutes tops pissed me off so bad i might just bite the bullet and finally get one of these in a paycheck or two.
