in any strategy game with a scenario editor I would spend ages doing this

as I understand it a 'cookie' in the US can be quite hard (inclusive of what RoW would call a 'biscuit'). to me 'cookie' implies a softer consistency. if I buy a pack of 'cookies' and they're hard (rather than merely firm, or at the most hard but very crumbly) I frown.

I think the RoW usage of 'cookie' can fairly be accused of something similar

compare the american usage of 'entrée', which is bizarre in terms of meaning, yet ultimately is just using a fancy word for a different element of a fancy ceremony. the question is entirely academic. but the usage of 'biscuit' is visceral.

it is ridiculous to whine too much about eating a brief ban for an edgy death threat joke. post with honour. conversely it is not ridiculous to be alarmed about journalists being shut down on petty or no pretext. default socmed policy is basically designed to make the former look like the latter
