I am very good at all things involving running servers and alright (mainly out of practice) with writing/reading code (Python/Bash/Go/Nix/Ruby/Typescript), and decent with hardware, but my work experience is very wonky because of grad school.

i believe signal is good because it refuses to add features unless it can fulfill its promise of privacy. you use it in certainty that they do not _ever_ compromise on their promise of privacy. even the slightest compromise is a betrayal of trust.
