Aki23 day14: parity, parity, parity. This is what Sumo tournaments are going to look like probably for a long time. low winning scores, bloodbath at the top. It's wonderful for the sport and means that whoever does come out on top will be tempered by fierce competition.

Aki23 day 12: Meisei is one of those rikishi that have great technique but aren't particularly big. We can forget that he's actually amazingly fast and young. He can be ozeki. I believe!

Aki23 day 9: those kinda losses hurt anyone's confidence. What's most worrying is a lack of adaptation. Hoshoryu is getting caught pushing forward. Hoshoryu is overcompensating for these losses and pushing harder, and that's not what's needed.
