Elmer and Compher are low hanging fruit on this roster right now, they’re not likely to go anywhere soon for different reasons but those guys, especially Elmer, don’t do much.

I think MBN is a better prospect than Ohgren though, swap him out for a lesser prospect that plays wing and I think you are spot on with the comps.

Unless enough time passes and no one gives in to their asking price. I’d guess Vancouver would adjust rather than lose him for nothing in free agency. Dumb fans bag on SY but he is known as a fierce negotiator. Good luck to Vancouver on those talks.

Well yes Gus and Holl are definitely helping out tremendously in GR, they are both essentially 4 A players these days, too good for the AHL and not good enough for the NHL. I don't think Cossa would be worse than this version of Gibson right now, at worst he'd be similar.

I hear you and understand what you are attempting to convey, the issue is that comparing any 2 players, let alone any 2 goalies is a fruitless endeavor. I mean I could make the case rather easily that Cossa, Postava, and Gylander's stats are being propped up by playing in GR behind that defense.

Gibson made some killer saves after the 3rd Seattle goal. Sucks he gave up 3 goals all on screens, because he saved everything he saw tonight for once.
