Just a failed Aeropsace Engineer turned crappy chemist/Electronics manufacturing industry professional. Also diecast airplane enthusiast
Stephen A. Schwarzman will hit gold as it'll be a fire sale for him to buy more houses to rent out to gullible NE'ers thinking they found a low cost paradise (only to find the reason it's cheap to them now is because the pay they will get is cheap...)

I have a saying "FL: NY housing for Alabma pay"
February 11, 2026 at 1:22 AM
Well its why they keep trying to make everything illegal in FL. Think the GrOPers in Texas have the same game plan.
February 11, 2026 at 1:17 AM
They also want child labor too.

They keep Gerrymandering the state too as Ruby red districts keep getting developed...
February 11, 2026 at 1:15 AM
Nope, and the amount of paperwork and waiting is a job in itself, and you're not assured anything. They keep lowering the maximum pay one gets before they cut off so folks in need keep falling off (while also increasing work requirements to get assistance too.)

It does feel they're going full Tumblr to please Wall Street for their IPO.

Say it with me kids, Wall Street ruins everything.

Used cars are the only thing I know that had a significant price decrease (not where they used to be), and GPUs once they became useless for Cryptomining (though they're going up now due to data center hoarding.) Purchases one usually makes every 5-15 years...

Yeah, and I know teachers who had their food subsidies cut for themselves and family, as well as their health insurance and were made to submit stuff again, and haven't been without foodstamps for months and have to rely on friends and family to help make those ends meet!
February 9, 2026 at 11:04 AM
Meanwhile they're also more than happy to layoff, and in some logic in the current timeline, it's seen as a good thing that causes the company stock to jump up $10 each time it happens!

Used to be a sign of when this was a sign of a unhealthy and unsustainable corporation.

Why would he resign? This has been the most profitable grift he has had ever, and he hasn't had to ask NBC-Universal/Comcast to bail him out with movie cameo or crappy TV show this time.

The image of Marines carrying him out w/ him crying and screaming has been one Folks are expecting.

*I meant to say first one is already a thing.

... deanity slightly higher than the Australian Outback and always votes red will have their votes counted within an hour, where it could take days for a more densely populated areas which can trend Blue. (6/6)
February 8, 2026 at 4:36 PM
Ofc this is falling flat seeing how much of one "reliable" group uses mail in ballots. So now the propagandists (FOX) and House Speaker are now intentionally trying to convolute votes being counted after polling closes with fraud, clearly knowing the small sunset town with a population just... (5/6)
February 8, 2026 at 4:36 PM
They also want to cut early voting for the same reason (in reality) making only 2 groups which can vote reliably because elections are held on a Tuesday, a day most are at work (or else.) Senile seniors and chronically unemployed methheads (2 very reliable voter groups for the GrOPers.) (4/6)
February 8, 2026 at 4:36 PM
Ofc no one goes around with a birth certificate (but then again this moron thinks you need to show your ID for groceries) which seems to be what they want for reasons no one understands.

The third point is due to mail in ballots usually not voting en mass for these morons. (3/6)
February 8, 2026 at 4:36 PM
Like in FL (where Trumpy here voted at least once btw) you have to show your ID to the worker, they usually match it up with a list and have you sign for your ballot.

That ID can have be Real ID (gold star), meaning you submitted papers (birth cert, SSN or passport) (FL only issues Real ID.) 2/6
February 8, 2026 at 4:36 PM
Yeah, this is standard authortatian talk. They babble on how it's all rigged against them due to some enemy they can't see. Doesn't matter if it's Trump, Orban, Kasczynski.

They bank on the stupidity of people to believe all this crap. Like everything but the last one is already a thing. (1/6)
February 8, 2026 at 4:36 PM
Yeah, I've been seeing these abominations around here being tested. They just make them sit in front of people's houses in groups, with Waymo saying "someone gave them permission to" without specifying who.

Apparently the idea is residential areas nearby will be staging area for Universal and OCCC.

If anything, I'd say Russia is at a linchpin where either scenario can happen. Not so much a late WWII manner though.

We've seen them (and other large) militaries struggle against smaller adversaries. They have been able to replenish with folks from other nations (India and Nepal in particular).
February 6, 2026 at 7:05 PM
Should add that Congress can remove them if they're found to be engaged in illegal behavior (i.e. taking bribes). They almost had in the 1960s getting one or two opposed to civil rights to resign. This action as we have seen is rarely done due to establishment likely being equally bad.

When he said pack the court, it means add more seats. This has been done in the past, FDR tried in the 1930s to get legislation to appoint a new justice for each one over the age of 70 (and get the number of justices to 15.)

It wasn't always at 9 and once even at 10!
The History of "Court-Packing" - Teaching American History
For many, Roosevelt’s “court-packing plan” brings up their first encounter with questions about the actual number of Supreme Court justices.

Yeah, this is nothing new nor we needed Hillary for that. Old men who voted R no matter who kept posting images of primates and moaning about "Obongo" since 2009.

What is new to me is the younger folks (late gen Z, early Gen Alpha) loving every second of the chaos and even signing "Erika" to this.

Oh, him again.

Very Mafia like threat against Greeks it sounds like.

Though that incident was in China, they put out a notice to all their suppliers, saying no one who works for a supplier could work more than 60 hours a week and more than 6 days consecutively.

Where I am these days, they get stingy about waged going past 40 and salaried going past 45. (3/3)
February 6, 2026 at 3:01 PM
For non-exempt (aka waged) employees, they must pay those employees 1.5x their rate after 40, and many places go 2x their pay rate after 60. When I worked Semiconductors, we had a lot of operators thst would do 60+ hour weeks for that, until Apple had a supplier get caught working kids 100+/wk (2/3)

I need to see if ESA builds their own stuff or depends on outside companies, like NASA has (very few engineers and technicians are actually directly employed by NASA and work for various contractors too)

Regardless, yeah, his companies are extreme cases. Many don't want people working past 60 (1/3)
