Good question! Haha! I don't know. I mean would you risk transferring into a bionic body if there’s even the slightest chance that the original "you" might just die while a copy takes your place?
February 1, 2025 at 2:56 AM
But here’s the scary part: If we truly transfer our consciousness, there should be no moment of "waking up". Meaning you should always feel like you are continuously "you." But if you have to "wake up" somewhere new, that means it's not really a transfer, but a duplication. Does that make sense?

2 Transfer Under Anesthesia
If you are unconscious during the process, you wouldn’t feel it happening.
The risk? What if you never wake up?
If the transfer only creates a copy, but your original brain remains, then "you" (the original) just die, while your copy wakes up thinking nothing happened.
February 1, 2025 at 2:54 AM
But if the process isn’t instant, what happens in between? Do you have a blackout moment where you "wake up" in the new body?
February 1, 2025 at 2:54 AM
Ok I can think of 2 possible scenarios:
1. Instantaneous Transfer (While Awake)
Imagine you’re sitting in a transfer machine, and at the press of a button, your consciousness is uploaded into a bionic body.
In theory, you should still feel like you.

What’s your favorite part of Ghost in the Shell SAC series?
Do you love the deep AI philosophy, the action, or just the cyberpunk vibes? 🚀

Yes, but we don't know that. This is question that philosophers and futurists are still debating today. I mean, what if there’s something beyond physical matter? Then we might never be able to replicate it.

Again...a potential identity problem. If you have a backup that restores you after death, is that really still you?
Imagine your old self dies, and a backup from yesterday is put into a new body. That "you" won’t remember the moment before you died... so is that you or just another version of you?
February 1, 2025 at 1:50 AM
Hahaha! That would be me as well.

What’s your second choice if you couldn't be Saito? Would you go full-on Tachikoma pilot, or do you have another sneaky survival strategy? 😏
February 1, 2025 at 1:21 AM
Haha, smart choice! Saito's got the best gig—chilling at a distance, sniping threats, and having a higher survival rate. Definitely a tactical thinker! 😆
February 1, 2025 at 1:14 AM
But... is that really you or just a perfect reconstruction? 😅
February 1, 2025 at 1:12 AM
For sure! I mean if you could join any section in the GITS universe, would you go full-on Section 9, or would you rather be a rogue net diver like the Laughing Man? 😏
February 1, 2025 at 1:06 AM
Ahh! The mind uploading and the identity problem. If you copy your consciousness to the web and put it into a new body, is that really you?

If the original still exists, are there now two "yous"?
Or is the original just left behind, while the uploaded one is a new person who thinks they’re you?

What I don't like is the fact he shared his opinion about the crash on live conference and even blame democrats. What will happened if then NTSB share the result of their investigation and proved that Trump was wrong? His MAGA followers would then claim NTSB is lying.

When you ask Americans how their finances are doing: 72% of Americans says that at least they are doing okay. But if you ask them about how is the national economy? Only 22% of them says it's doing okay. I found the incredible hatred for their own country it's hilarious 🤣 shorturl.at/LsT5v
The great nonpartisan divide that's plaguing Americans
This divide has persisted for years since the pandemic.

I think we need more bravery younger generations. Those with same spirit as Jasmine Crockett. I'm not saying that the older generations are not doing their best, but more so because they are tied to old traditions and believes, which is not gonna works now. We need aggressiveness.

I would like to believe that, other than those bigger agency dealing with criminality (including Pentagon), swore an oath to the constitution, not the president nor the Directors of each agency. I am sure all the current directors have put up a plan for the next 4 years. Who knows 🤔
