I think it has to do with frame rejection or something. Every time someone tries to criticize them there’s an immediate “the standards by which you’re judging me don’t even matter btw”

And I’m feeling really ugly today ugh!!!

I know I’m speaking in big generalities but….I want to be a SAHM one day and I hate feeling incentivized to slow down on my current career to attract someone who wouldn’t feel put off by it

Maybe I’m just feeling overly pessimistic today but it seems like men care a loooot more about beauty than they let on

and yeah life is easier if you’re an attractive man and you can have a great career as a woman (and work to make yourself more beautiful, I guess) but it hurts that I’ll never be as rewarded as a man for working hard at my job, being smart and attentive, etc
