Gotta be my big bright blue Kharibdyss! This was one of the most airbrush-centric painting projects I'd done up to that point, and I'm so happy with how it turned out.
A warhammer Kharibdyss, a multi-headed deep-sea monstrosity, with dark blue scales, and a bright blue underbelly. Its heads have claw-like mandibles, one with a tentacle-like lower jaw that resembles incorrect reconstructions of the prehistoric shark helicoprion. The kharibdyss is based crawling over a rocky beach with basalt columns.

Certainly, here you go! Helmet is inspired by the Viksø helmets, and the spear felt an appropriately Bronze Age choice of weapon.

Don't think I ever ended up showing you the barrow I built with these pieces! Picked up the entrances at Salute 2024 while in the middle of a uni module about Stonehenge and Britain in the Neolithic to Bronze Age, so couldn't resist having a crack at building one.

Document your travels journeying between the reality of the late 1100s and the worlds of medieval Christian mythology, in search of a legendary kingdom beyond the bounds of Christendom.

Painted the old Warhammer Forge basilisk, which I lured out from the den it had made in my pile of shame many years ago. Got it without the original base, so built one up with citadel wood bits! Going to be using it for the Old World, where it'll be counting as a jabberslythe among my Beastmen.

Painted up the games day '09 Exalted Champion of Chaos! Soooo wanted this guy as a kid, so really enjoyed getting to paint him. While the horns' red tint is inspired by the cover of The Lost and the Damned, the rest of the scheme is inspired by another artwork. Points if you can guess it!

I hope the army list keeps up the rough, cut-throat, barely-above-bandits tone that appears in some older publications about the Border Princes - brigands as their core would definitely be a good start! My perception of that realm always goes back to this excerpt from WFRP2e's Renegade Crowns:

Moonstone Gnome edition!
