An object lesson in the power of language and how dangerous it can be when it is used for misdirection:

A police officer who "misbehaves" IS a criminal. So to give them extra powers IS to give criminals the benefit.

Once again, if your laws cannot stand up to legal challenges, then your laws are flawed. If the TTPS (the org charged with upholding the law) cannot be effective within the bounds of the law, then it has some SERIOUS problems.

Let's address that instead of all this pretense.

And to respond to the failure to protect a special prosecutor with what amounts to "it's not like this is the first time" and then essentially say "but don't worry, we gotchu" is a CHOICE.

You're 100% right about that and please believe they WILL be pulling plays from it because they've been plagiarizing the American right for a long time.
