Traveled to Spain in Feb for in the XVII Jarama March which paid tribute to the Abraham Lincoln Battalion, a unit of the XV International Brigades. Approx 3,200 American volunteers fought in the ALB. At Jarama in 1937, 25% were killed. Woody Guthrie immortalized their sacrifice in Jarama Valley.
