Read it yesterday! Wild. Was wondering when Sondheim would get mentioned. And it brought Debra Monk to mind. Hope Mr. Weidman is working on Sara Jane II.

Whenever I see NK in any other role, I always think, Jayne Meadows, Jayne Meadows. Except for The Hours, when I thought fake nose, fake nose.

Must’ve been. I saw Sir Ben on stage and had no idea for 50 years. Thanks!

I saw Sir Paul in a Fugard play, Dimetos, at the Royal Court, very intimate venue for such a great actor. Saw Amadeus with John Wood (who hated to turn his back to the audience) , and Peter Firth and Amy Irving. Not a bad replacement cast at all.

The singing nun? Her name? Forget it.

Did he split an infinitive or something?

He is an infant. He has the doting attendants to please him. A row of portraits pumping Baby up and putting down the others? No problem. Putting his name on a 50 year old institution? Done. Need a diaper change? Let’s draw straws.

Live theater? The pack is crowded.

Movies? First showing of the Saturday “Nashville”. During Keith’s I’m Easy, the woman behind me whispered to her friend, “I’ve died and gone to heaven.”

I don’t know who thought of it but Veal Prince Orloff and “I just got fired”. That half hour alone.

Saw it in 1998, $21.25. David Allan Baker, Katie Finneran, and Mary Louise Wilson. Fabulous.

Barbara Harris in practically anything.

Rosemary or Julie Harris as Mary Tyrone. JH did a reading, and they were both mentioned in connection with the Lemmon revival.

Think of the leading men she played opposite. Did any other actress of the studio or post studio eras act so well with such a wide array of costars: Woody and Al, of course, but then, Gere, Caine, Gould, Caan, Beatty, Jack (twice) Shepard, Finney, Gibson. Post heyday, a lot more. Marron!

I don’t know who SSG is, but it has to be epic to overshadow Rosie! Especially if it’s Phil or Bing, my first guesses.

Or two deceased actors in a pilot, similarity lacking in take off. Thank you Messrs Levinson and Link.

Two living hill actors (one peerless) in a pilot that failed to take off.

Saw the last two. A real gem of that ilk: Penny Fuller in Three Viewings.
