Feel myself slowly coming back to life. Nearly 2 weeks into no horror job, sleeping well, feeling more hopeful, commute better, job so much calmer and more positive. Coming out of what was a year and a half of depression.

Modern life is amazing. I decided I wanted ice cream for dinner (because fuck you). Went on Uber Eats, ordered 2 pints, within 15 minutes I was eating Cherry Garcia.

I'm putting nearly a grand a month into my 401k. Not much more I can do to prepare for "retirement".

Despite spending almost $10K more last year that I have in the last several years, my MGM Rewards offers continue to decline. Comped nights are roughly the same (except Bellagio and Cosmo) but now I'm down to just $50 in RC, no Freeplay. Going to start taking this personally soon.

Going to have to go into save mode in February if I am doing a birthday Vegas trip. I'll have just 6 checks to build up around $4500.

Hard to believe but down to 4 days of vacation left. Enjoying the TO but getting a little tired of my room, going to go out tomorrow and Sat then have one last recovery day before it's back to work.

The financials of the trip, while far from ideal, worked out about as expected. Won't be hamstrung by the debt, but also no nest egg for April, if I go. Did crush the MGM points so Gold with no issues.
