This week almost 150 education, social work & SLT students joined colleagues & I for a collaborative event focussing on child protection. Couldn’t agree with this more. It’s made me reflect upon my own smart phone usage and I’ve set myself the target of stepping back from social media in 2025, to focus on my own wellbeing, and to spend more time doing things I love! A must watch for everyone ⬇️⬇️⬇️
This series on @Channel4 is a must watch. With a science based approach from @drranganchatterjee.bsky.social it has studied the impact of removing smart phones from 12 yr olds for 21 days & the results speak for themselves. The stats around harm to under 16s is now apparent & action is necessary. 1/
