And yet so little coverage of how fascist and racist it was in NYT/WP. The “Aryan” part of it, blond blue-eyed Scands versus Black Somalis, should’ve been front and center. We saw what happened to the non-Aryan types in Nazi Germany. Obviously lost also on Miller who, as a Jew, should know better.

Don’t quite see the logic in this. Do you believe interviews with Shapiro will endear him to the base? Or is he competing with Shapiro for Independents? In which case why would he appear with a possible Dem rival?

I don’t think anyone is claiming that he is suddenly a saint. His statement is remarkable precisely because he is what he is and therefore it points to serious cracks in the party. It’s also a testimony to the rapidly growing awareness that GOP is losing minorities. And it will also drive Trump mad.

Our grandson was just a couple of months old. It was horrifying to see tubes for ventilation on his sweet tiny face. He was in ICU in Children’s Hospital for almost a week. Now he is a robust and healthy (knock on wood) boy of 3 but the memories of it are still traumatic. Screw RFK! !
