GB7VAX will be providing intermittent service on Monday whilst I upgrade to a Static IP,, therefore providing a very reliable service in the future.

Thinking of moving ISP to Daisy telecom as they will provide a static IP for the GB7VAX DXCluster. Giving improved reliability and cheaper than EE

49:1 Balun for EFHW. I’ve stacked 3x FT240-52 toroids,, Winding is 14SWG enamelled copper. No idea how much RF it will take… hoping for 5-800w.

First service for the VAXmobile tomorrow… Call me sceptical,, but I’ve used a paint marker on all the bolts, screws and housings that should be removed when servicing…..

Well, most of the bits are here to fit the Yaesu FTM-400 into the car. I need an auto electrician close to Wirral to fit a power cable from the battery through to the boot so I can terminate in the cab and boot with Powerpoles.
