GB7VAX will be providing intermittent service on Monday whilst I upgrade to a Static IP,, therefore providing a very reliable service in the future.

Thinking of moving ISP to Daisy telecom as they will provide a static IP for the GB7VAX DXCluster. Giving improved reliability and cheaper than EE

49:1 Balun for EFHW. I’ve stacked 3x FT240-52 toroids,, Winding is 14SWG enamelled copper. No idea how much RF it will take… hoping for 5-800w.

The parts are starting to arrive for the ground up rebuild of the GB7VAX DXCluster. All going to be running on the RPi 5.

That’s the FTM-100XDE set up in the shack. All repeaters in 60 miles of me programmed in. Now to do some reading how to use FUSION

Well, most of the bits are here to fit the Yaesu FTM-400 into the car. I need an auto electrician close to Wirral to fit a power cable from the battery through to the boot so I can terminate in the cab and boot with Powerpoles.
