New paper from the LASI team in the @thelancet.com GH: a study of Indian adults aged 45+ finds that 1 in 5 had #diabetes in 2019, highlighting the urgent needs in prevention, detection, and care — especially in developing regions of India.

Using data from a Gateway Hackathon, the paper, "Lifespan exposures to rural–urban conditions and later-life cognitive function," found that rural residence, esp. during childhood, is linked to poorer later-life #cognitive outcomes.
