They wouldn’t have the audience if they didn’t have to learn to behave to some degree. Just because they are athletes doesn’t give them the right to be disrespectful and crude in front of children. Parents have the right to demand better for their children.

There’s nothing wrong with protecting innocence for as long as feasible. Civilized People behaved with decency and decorum for centuries. Why debase the children too early? Thus no need to be disrespectful.

But stepping down so suddenly, especially after Trump said lawmakers who aren’t 100% falling in line to follow him 100% need to be executed.
She’s likely been threatened directly. Credible threats. Somebody needs to check her fam, if they’ve been kidnapped, disappeared

And the players could learn from that teachable moment! Learn to behave better in a polite society and not use vulgar language around children. It’s not an unreasonable expectation. People did that for centuries.

How about we normalize decency and diminish the crude, cruel, disgraceful, disrespectful verbiage in the vernacular? Much of America has forgotten how to exist in polite society.

Not enough to make me break Starbucks Union workers protest line, and not enough to make me shop at Target ever again. Target backing Trump is what lost them our business to begin with. They need to stay out of meddling in politics. That’s the only way they will regain lost consumers
