dudette, it is a platform almost entirely comprised of robots and grifters which barely serves the functions that drew people to it; it is not an unyielding fixture of some sort of immortal internet landscape. and it doesn't need to be deleted outright to die; myspace is a zombie, for example.

a lot of people do not think about AI, technology in general, or possibly anything at all critically enough to put together how immediately suspicious or unhelpful that sort of attitude is, and people who aren't savvy or paying attention are easy to get hooked on sycophantic dopamine hits.
