The project in question would be a large package of sketches for a book's cover/inserts - approximately 30 overall (the rendering, design, and implementation would be done my yours truly). Just putting feelers out there! And if all goes well, I'd love to work more with said artist in the future!

Curious whether anyone out there is familliar with (or is!) an artist who is good with younger anthro characters, and at the same time feral characters? A mixture or range between grittier and sweeter art styles is the aim - I know this is a really specific ask, which is why I post about it 😵💜

There 100% is. And unfortunately the larger community is geared towards the fandom side of things - much to the invalidation of freelancer/creative employee side of the plight. Which is linked to those folks' very wellbeing and livelihoods, vs. the artistic drive of a fandom. Can show in ugly ways

Most importantly, I feel like a lot of folks don't recognize that this is the core behind the symptoms they're experiencing in trying to make ends meet, and get stuck shadow boxing other factors. Our audience is elsewhere, and getting increasingly resistant to venturing out of their comfort zone
