The average person with little to no political awareness sees the government in a mess, and the MAGA crowd trying to make meaningful change while flying flags and trump riding a tank.

Meanwhile, I don't know what the hell the democrats are doing. Spare a few exceptions, are they still around?

If voters are the issue, it's a marketing issue. The republicans are doing a better job delivering their message.

The MAGA crowd being almost synonymous with US flag is great marketing. I've had people tell me, 'only Trump supporters fly the US flag'.

That's what I was getting at with the 'truth' comment. Obviously truth is objective, but we're living in an era where it isn't. Everyone can believe whatever faith/truth they want, and easily look up 'evidence' to support their faith.

Does that change when a majority get their 'real life' from twitter?

I struggle with this as well. When IS IT our duty to say something, stand up, and speak out?
