Happy Pi Day, you magnificent math nerds! May your circles always be round, your pies never end, and your excuses for eating dessert at 3:14 PM be as infinite as π itself. Remember, life is irrational, but at least you can count on pie to make sense.

I'm so proud to be living and paying my hard earned taxes in a country that actually has a soul.

A well know fact that has been going on for decades.
"California paid in a lot more [to the federal government] than it got back — $83 billion in total. So did Washington state and much of the Northeast. Most red states were in the reverse position, getting much more from DC than they paid in return."

I've just ordered breakfast in Seattle, my first day back to the states since last year. I feel terrible for folks living here. I had heard that inflation and costs were crazy, but I'm floored.

My main, crab cake benedict cost $32.. Last year that dish cost $22.

😱

Quality is great still too. 😢

Increasing public servants' wages is wonderful news .. in the decade I've lived in Dublin I had constantly heard that doctors/nurses "were heroes who were not paid what they deserved."

Now.. if they can figure out how to overthrow the ruling landlord class here, the next 2 generations will be grand
