Just a few days ago I wrote about the media’s cowardly euphemisms and other weasel wording that helps Trump.

We just ate at Serious TX BBQ in Loveland and it was quite good!! The pulled pork was my fave. There is a foco location but you could grab some near expired but super cheap food at Esh’s next door in Loveland.

-Berthoud Brewing in W Loveland is good. Only food trucks @ the Berthoud location.

And there ain’t nothing in Wyoming.

Well, there are some hot springs apparently, and of course Yellowstone.

And some kind of big rodeo but we aren’t into heat and dust and big truck folks.

Last few:
- the Aerial Tramway in Estes is historic and super fun.

- strolling the river walk in Estes is also quite nice. You’ll get to see trout and hummingbird moths this time of year.

- drive the Peak to Peak Highway while your up there and stop in Nederland. It’s so charming.

- if you can venture far away Mesa Verde is incredible to see. You’d need to be on your way down south but is in my top 5. Grab one of the guided tour hikes too.

- driving up Pikes Peak is pretty awesome. We haven’t done the cog yet but some day. It was closed for years. 🧵

- Denver Art Museum is in a very cool building and is a great indoor activity when it’s hot. It’s not as big as SLAM, nor free, but it’s still fun if you’re an art person.

- Denver Museum of Nature and Science has incredible historic life-size dioramas and the geology exhibit is my fave. 🧵

- manitou springs, garden of the gods and Red rocks amphitheater <its open to the public unless there’s a show

- dip your feet in Grand Lake, it’s so dang pretty and deep, like a mini Lake Tahoe

- go to the flagship REI store in Denver it’s very cool and huge

-drive up Old Fall River Road in RMNP (no campers and it’s gravel) get entry tix at 7pm the night before you want to go. 🧵
