Maybe these were taken with the iPhone 17 Pro? :P. I enjoyed that section of the podcast. Great photos!

The pandemic made a lot of people realize that they are evil, and they decided to embrace it. They don’t care that other people might die or suffer because of them. They don’t care that disabled people or people recovering from cancer or the elderly can’t go to the store. And they are proud of it.

Except Biden didn’t do any better with respect to SARS-Cov-2. In fact, he’s the president that “declared” the pandemic was over. So, Harris couldn’t throw him under the bus.

I don’t know. We have called multiple medical (and dentist) offices asking if the staff would mask. We don’t even need everyone to mask, just the doctor or nurse that will see us. Most places will say no.

People are no longer just lazy or ignorant. They are actually anti-mask now.

I suspect you’re talking about an Apple TV+ show, and not youtube.com/@thestudio

Outlook for Workgroups. The crowd is probably too young for that one.

Really sorry about your loss.

Is it? We had a democratic president that declared the pandemic was over when the science and the thousands of people dying weekly all over the country said otherwise. His CDC downplayed the facts too.

Democrats have been a terrible ally for COVID-aware people and the disabled/chronically ill.

I don’t like this proposal (because it could set precedent for an actual mask ban), but it’s not a mask ban (e.g. not the same as the ban in North Carolina and other places). This Texas bill (HB3061) enhances the punishment for people convicted of certain criminal offenses while disguised or masked.

I’m not a legal expert, but saw this post earlier with a guide from the ACLU on how to handle an ICE encounter. Looks like a good starting point: bsky.app/profile/cweb...
I’m telling everyone: Do not open the door or say a word unless you’re expecting someone and know exactly who it is.

Know your rights. Pass these around…

It’s the new “quiet firing”. The private sector is using a similar strategy (e.g. Amazon RTO mandate).
