I know these don't fit the traditional definition of monopoly but the App Store and Play Store are the real problem here. Not Chrome and Google's search index.

I'm trying to add @helln0.bsky.social to a starter pack but your user search endpoint doesn't seem to return them since it also happens when @ mentioning them.

I've been using Farcaster and X daily for years now and will continue to do so.
I might add Bluesky to my rotation. Not sure yet.
Lens, Nostr, Mastodon and Threads aren't for me.

By far what I like the most from using it is being able to push updates without going through app review.
That's really the biggest win.
Having a single codebase for both iOS and Android is nice but less important.
