Gemini 3.0 is out!

Some interesting changes :

Temperature : Google strongly recommends to default it to 1.0. That's a big change for production use cases where we often iterate between 0.2 to 0.6.

So... usually we use machine language (json, yaml) to speak with LLMs in an industrial setting. We also ensure the output of the LLM is structured the same way.

Highlights from AI Agent Lab @ @Google this morning! Two tracks: business and dev

Some demos for business people, very googly oriented (gmail, workspace, enterprise…)

Devs get live demo of Gemini CLI, ADK (agent dev kit), nano 🍌

Looking forward to labs this afternoon!

Be careful if you’re trying vibe coding and publishing your code as public repos on GitHub!

You can just get OpenAI API keys by asking ChatGPT Agent to search GitHub. 🤷‍♀️

Just enjoying Comet' taste, the agentic browser from Perplexity 🪐

A tiny 7 Million parameter model just beat DeepSeek-R1, Gemini 2.5 pro, and o3-mini at reasoning on the hardest LLM benchmarks ARG-AGI 1 and ARC-AGI 2! 👌

Managers have been vive coding forever 🥲

@OpenAI just announced their agent builder interface and it looks great!

Why it matters?
It now takes minutes to build a complex AI agent that can automate your daily tasks.

Absolutely no code needed, just simple logic! ✨

gpt-oss 20b is a real game changer ✨

If you're conscious about your AI consumption, data and privacy, small models work really well even on laptops!

I've been daily driving gpt-oss instead of asking Google or ChatGPT online.
(disclaimer, I use a Mac)

Claude gave two amazing lectures on prompt engineering and agentic prompting! ✨ Some key takeaways :

Every Arc, Dia users screaming internally.
It’s interesting to see another great product being tear down by greed, or some other bs reason.

A board, or CEO wanting to bring more $$ instead of building something nice, that could run on its own with a reasonable subscription.

Anyone wants to build a wrapper around this? Imagine trying out clothes you want to buy online from one pic of yourself.
May 26, 2025 at 6:13 PM
Love this! Bolt.new is organising an online hackathon for people who literally vibe code haha.

I think it's worth a try. Do let me know if you participate! Everyone can try, logic and ideas suffice for this one :D

eric zakariasson from the cursor team shared a decision tree to decide on which model to pick to get started on Cursor, Windsurf, Trae, VS Code or Void.
May 16, 2025 at 3:00 PM
Finally a fully open source Cursor alternative! Void. Code with your own LLMs via LM Studio, Ollama...

Add any api key : Mistral, DeepSeek, Grok... 🤩

Keep your sensitive code base on your machine, use local auto completion (in beta with a local Qwen 3b)

Gentle reminder that we're in a quite generous space bc some people have money to spend to try killing existing mono/duo/trio-polies. But once they reach a point where they have PMF and all their "shareholders" now want their money back, we'll be paying for what used to be free!
May 12, 2025 at 10:21 AM
There's a new player in the agentic IDE game named Trae, from ByteDance 👀

They launched in March with a first version not including any agentic capabilities, nor Claude integration!

They made huge progress since and differentiate from Cursor with some nice finishing touches :

Europe, shall we follow? @euaccofficial @LaFrenchTech

Over 250 CEOs from companies including Microsoft, Adobe, Airbnb, and IBM have signed an open letter urging U.S. states to make computer science and AI education mandatory for high school graduation!

If, like me, you're always struggling between pertex, gore tex, what waterproof jacket to buy to cycle, what running shoes to pick...

I created a Custom GPT that helps compare technical and non technical gear so that you can finally decide what to buy.

✨ A system prompt goldmine to learn from the best.

Someone extracted the system prompts from major coding and general use agents such as Manus, Cursor, Bolt, Devin AI…

Here is the list:

I personally use MCP servers along with Cursor on a daily basis. ✨

It's a bit technical, but read until the end to access a Claude MCP app store and start playing with complex apps with natural language!

OpenAI just published a Prompting Guide for 4.1 that covers different types of prompting with a focus on agentic workflows. It's super practical and gives you examples. Thanks! @OpenAI
