Do people even watch TGA for the awards? Feels like to me people watch for the trailers more, and the intermissions are full of corporate plug-ins and ad-ridden brain mush.

TGA doesn't care about the love of the video game craft, just how many eyes they can get on products to satisfy sponsors.
