Way of Kings is up there for me. My favorite book is probably the sequel to it, Words of Radiance.

It’s a good one, you might feel overwhelmed though - it was the first time that I had to take active notes on people’s name as I was reading lol. And I had already read other Sanderson stuff too; this is just his most “old fantasy” stuff. It gets easier :)

100% some of the best fans I’ve interacted with are women. And his books encourage an anti-misogyny perspective. “Men” with “fragile egos” will feel challenged by a number of main characters lol. Vin and Jasnah among others.
